Violent Agreement Traduzione
Women with disabilities are much more likely to experience violence than women without disabilities, more often, longer, more and more offenders; they have much less path to safety and are less likely to report violent experiences. This is especially true for women with mental disabilities, especially when living in long-term housing. See all articles on life after violence, institutions and violence against women. We also ask women from other European countries about their experience. The report «Life after Violence» is available at: As part of the Life After Violence project, Inclusion Europe has conducted a study on how women with intellectual disabilities deal with the violence they experienced in institutions after leaving it. They told us how they dealt with these experiences when they left the institution. This work is funded by the Open Society Foundations. The report was based on in-depth interviews with 10 women. Registration of the seminar organised with EDF in November 2020.
